Travel to Western Belize to the Blue Hole National Park, an inland sink hole for a refreshing swim,
- then onwards to Cahal Pech ruins where you can view the ancient ceremonial center and dozens of plazas and temples, remnants of a once vibrant and magnificent people.
- Stop for lunch in the bustling town of San Ignacio, and then
- take the ferry over to Xunantunich, the highest man-made structure in Belize. Climb the 130 foot El Castillo and enjoy the breathtaking view of Western Belize and even as far as Guatemala cushioned by a lush canopy of the tropical forest.
