Start your vacation with a relaxing night at our seaside location on
mainland Dangriga Enjoy our bartenders' special and a sumptious feast
prepared with care. Awake at your leisure, then travel by boat to your
tranquil, tropical paradise - South Water Caye. On this small, secluded
island, right atop the magnificent barrier reef, you'll forget the world
you left behind, if only for a few days. Watch your days slowly drift by
as you sleep lulled by tropical breezes in your cottage, swim and snorkel
in crystalline waters, kayak, hammock, and of course - the purpose of your
vacation - RELAX!!! On day five, the end of your island interlude, return
by boat to Dangriga - revitalized and ready to face the world again!!!

Adventure and Exploration are the aim of this package. Start your vacation
with a relaxing night at our seaside location on mainland Dangriga. Enjoy
our bartenders' special and a sumptious feast prepared with care. After
breakfast, depart to the Mayflower Archaeological Reserve, where you'll be
surrounded by dense tropical forest, and can hike the various nature trails
abundant with wildlife, view two unexcavated Post Classic Mayan Sites, and
take refreshing dips in the scenic 150 ft Antelope and Three Sisters Water
Falls. Bird Watching is an added bonus on this trip. On day 3,
experience a different kind of adventure - the mysteries of the Barrier
Reef. Enjoy a rare treat - Man-O-War Caye one of the Caribbean's largest
nesting sites for Frigates and Brown Boobies. After a serene morning spent
swimming or lazing on the beach, you'll be taken to a nearby patch reef to
snorkel among an abundance of live and colorful fish, sting rays, coral and
other marine life.
Return home having learnt the secrets that lie above and below sunny
southern Belize.

Pelican Beach Resorts' Special Services
(Available all year round!)
Customized in country and group itineraries - When Pelican Beach first opened, it was one of the pioneers in the Belizean tourism industry. There were not many tour and ground operators in the country, and when customers first contacted us we offered to book their in country flights, make ground transfer arrangements, book other hotels and in general take care of their in country travel arrangements. Today we continue to offer these services to all our customers, whether individual or group, to one destination or on a countrywide tour.
Sample group itinerary:
- Day 1 Pickup at Belize International Airport, by bus to San Ignacio area for overnight
- Day 2 Visits to Mayan Ruins, then to Pelican Beach stopping en route at the inland Blue Hole, overnight Pelican Beach, Dangriga.
- Day 3 Day trip to Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary, overnight Pelican Beach, Dangriga
- Day 4-6 Off to Pelican Beach's South Water Caye facilities for 3 days of snorkeling, fishing, scuba.....
- Day 7 Back to Pelican Beach, Dangriga, entertainment by traditional Garifuna dancers after dinner.
- Day 8 Departure for the Belize International Airport
Weddings and Honeymoons
We have arranged weddings ranging from the bride, groom and reverend alone on the dock at sunrise up to a day long party for 500 people beginning with the marriage ceremony on the beach. Services include assistance with obtaining the marriage license, cake, flowers, reception and even the honeymoon at the Heron's Hideaway on South Water Caye!
